ITH Pharma ApS was established in 2024 by Ivan Thage.
With over 20 years of experience, Ivan has held various management and specialist roles within the pharma and healthcare industries, working both nationally and internationally.
His areas of expertise include:
- Manufacture of liquid APIs (Medicine for the EU/US)
- Manufacture of tablets (Medicine for the Nordic countries)
- Micro Encapsulated Vitamins (Medicine/ Food Supplement - Worldwide)
- Vitamin & mineral mix (Health & Nutrition - Worldwide)
Ivan’s primary areas of expertise are manufacturing, warehousing (for both commodities and finished goods) and packaging. This experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the entire value chain and its interactions.
Ivan’s blend of practical and academic experience has equipped him with a distinctive pragmatic approach to the life science industry.
This background has given him expertise in change management, strategy, due diligence, the start-up of departments and factories, qualification of premises and equipment, routine operations, tech transfer of medicines, internal and external audits and inspections and working with quality systems under both Eudralex and ISO standards (ISO 9001).
For the past two years, Ivan has served as Senior Strategic Project Manager, overseeing the closure of a production company with 125 employees across the entire value chain.
This process was particularly significant as it involved not only managing the staff and ensuring patient safety but also meeting the expectations of both the owners and regulatory authorities. As a result, Ivan considers change management and transformation processes to be areas of particular expertise and importance.
Ivan has remained up-to-date with regulations, quality assurance and management practices throughout his career.
